He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Blythe and Maggie Taulbee Blythe; his son Kenneth Wayne; and his siblings, Homer Dale Blythe and Kathleen Witt.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Ann and Byron Kent; his wife Irma Irene Blythe; his children-in-law, Duane Schneider of Phoenix, Arizona and Rebecca Blythe of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Patrick Kenneth Blythe and Amanda Hesterberg (Zach Hesterberg).
