He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sylvester and Tensie Pitts Anderson; his wife Sylvia Scott Anderson; his brothers, Bobby Lee Anderson, Danny Lewis Anderson and Edgar Lee Haney; his half-brother Edgar Lee Haney; and his sisters, Emma Jean Anderson Mosley of Rutherford County, Ethel Mae Anderson Smitty of Rutherford County, Lillie Faye Anderson Smitty of Rutherford County and Mattie Ann Anderson Wooten of Rutherford County.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Grady Scott (Manchester). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
