He was predeceased by: his children, Judy Douglas Benton, Leonard L. Douglas and Gary Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Tucker Douglas; his son David Douglas (Sandy) of Murfreesboro; and his siblings, Joan Faulk (Calvin) of Midland and Bobby Douglas of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Crescent church of Christ building fund.
