She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Walker and Luanna Weitkamp Walker; her husband Bennett Austin "Ben" Hurt, Sr.; and her brother Jerry. She is survived by: her children, Bennett A. Hurt, Jr. (Jenny) and Debra Williams (Phillip); and her brothers, Ronnie, Harold, Grant and Benjamin Walker. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129). A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).
