She is survived by: her brother James Roberson (Shirley); her children, Sharon Avant, Denise Dixon (Darnell), Patricia Davis (Rod) and Walter Avant, Jr. (Deyon); her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Avant, Starr Avant, Shay Allen (Curtis) and O'Leshia Southall (Joshua); and her nieces and nephews, DaCaria Adams, DaLaisha Adams (Kirkland McKenzie) and DaVon Adams. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; more than 30 greatgrandchildren.
