She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Nelson and Lorene Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Tameka and Marcus Nelson; her grandchildren, Du'Ricco Johnson, Du'Marcus Voorhies, Du'Mekia Nelson, Du'Mario Nelson, Du'Monta Burns, Du'Ron Alexander, Jr. and Du'Marion Dumas; her siblings, Sarah Holman (Jerry), Jimmie "Gert" Nelson Shannon, Tommy Nelson (Betty), George Nelson (Vanessa), William Nelson (Marie), Albert Nelson (Judy), Clarence Nelson (Debra) and Pleas Nelson (Jenna); and her friends, Stacy and Jessica. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
