She was predeceased by : her parents, Phillip Edward and Leona Chamberlin (Matlock); her husband Chester "Chet" Klingner; and her sisters, Shirley Johnston and Phylis Chamberlin.

Chamberlin (Kim) of Scipio, Jean Beesley (Richard) of North Vernon and Cynthia Goley (Paul) of Madison; her grandchildren, Jason Klingner of Valley View, Carissa Brownlee (Jeff) of Lewisville, Kristie Vogel (Todd) of North Vernon, Lindy Biehle Hensley of North Vernon and Jodi Hogan (Chris) of Floyd Knobbs; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Vogel of North Vernon, Luke Biehle of North Vernon, Cameron Hensley of North Vernon, Payton Vogel of North Vernon, Karlee Vogel of North Vernon, Dylan Hogan of Floyd Knobbs, Easton Hogan of Floyd Knobbs, Emma Klingner of Valley View, Cooper Brownlee of Lewisville, Texas. and Jacob Brownlee of Lewisville, Texas..

Memorials may be made in honor of Marilyn through the funeral home to Tennessee Fisher House Foundation or Tennessee State Veteran's Home.
