We bid farewell to Marjorie Childrey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2026 at the age of 98. Marjorie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Wilson and Lillian Martin Wilson; her husband Robert Wilburn Childrey; her children, John Robert Childrey, Larry Wilson Childrey and Susan Diane Childrey; her grandson Robert Scott Howell; her great grandchildren, Christopher Chance Goodgine and Jakaiya Leigh Hughes; and her siblings, Beatrice Wilson Hobbs, Bobby Wayne Wilson, Thomas Milton Wilson, Charles Henry Wilson, Reba Wilson Dixon, Wendell "Buck" Wilson, Edith Wilson Voss, James Douglas Wilson and Peggy Wilson Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Childrey Steriotis of Murfreesboro and Patricia Childrey Cahill (Mike) of Doraville, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Michelle Howell of Bethpage, Tennessee, Ed Howell of Gallatin, Tennessee, Kate Bray (Donavon) of Columbia, Tennessee, Maria Pauldo (Keith) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Heather Lesher (Jake) of Kingston, Aaron Cahill (Ashley) of Roswell, Georgia and Amanda Baron (David) of Lawrenceville, Georgia.; and her great grandchildren, Kelsey Pitman (Sam), Jana Howell, Hadley Woodard, Shelby Conard (Steve), Hannah Woodward, Jada Hughes-Coman (Layken), Jamil Hughes (Bethany), Laura Howell, Jaylan Hughes, Josh Howell and Alexander Howell. She is also survived by 10 great-great-grandchildren.
