It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Houser Cushman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick P. Houser and Maude Brown Houser; her husband Donald J. Cushman; her son Jeffery Cushman; and her siblings, LaVerne Koos and Frederick R. Houser.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Wirtz; her children, Donna Lee Barnes (Ken), Jill Baker (Rufus) and Jack Cushman (Linda); her daughter-in-law Mary Cushman; her grandchildren, Christy Pittman (Stephen), Lisa Felts (Chris), Jenna Bell (Issac), Greg (Danielle), Brett Baker, Jamie, Jeremy, Jason, Jordan Cushman (Kara), Chelsie Nielsen (Bryan) and Victoria Frishman; and her great grandchildren, Haley Cantrell, Nicholas, Taylor Dyer, Alecea, Ayden Wilkerson, Jaden, Issac, Peyton Bell, Bailey, Cameron Pittman, Gavin, Savannah, Noah Felts, Evelyn, Linnaea Nielsen, Joelle and McKinley Cushman.
