Martha Battles Dooley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Battles Dooley (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on May 25, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Martha is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Battles and Odell Jones Battles; and her sisters, Dorothy Fender and Bettye Hanvey. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dooley; her children, Terri Dooley Sullivan and Glenn Dooley; her grandchildren, Jason Dooley (Trish) and Ashley Hobbs; and her great grandchild Chance Dooley.

Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in memory of Mrs. Dooley.
