She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Fuqua and Virginia Fuqua (Duke); her husband Hugh E. Williams, Jr.; her children, Beverly Yates and Ray Williams, Jr.; and her siblings, Polly Richards, Morris, Walter, Cliff and Doug Fuqua.
She is survived by: her son Hugh Williams (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Jasha Rodriguez (Steve), Brooke McAvoy (Brad), Stacey Barnett (Jon), Victoria Henson, Greg and Daniel Yates; and her great grandchildren, Ashten Vokovich, Haley, Camden Hargrove, Holly Taylor, Thomas, Tenley and Trit Yates. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other beloved extended family and dear friends.
