It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hoover Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Johnson; her sisters, Margaret Hoover Todd and Caroline Hoover Hawk; and her great-grandparent Governor John Price Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lavender Money (Gene) of Winchester and Donald L. Johnson of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, John Lavender (Charly) of Winchester and Laura Hill (Justin) of Winchester; her great grandchildren, Taylor Nunley of Winchester, William Lavender of Winchester, Makenzie Hill of Winchester and Austin Hill of Winchester; her sister Helen Hoover Nipper of Murfreesboro; and her pet Winston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
