He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Bachman; and his stepfather Ralph Bachman. He is survived by: his wife Gloria "Beanie" Ford; his daughter Tracy Young (Joe); his stepgrandson Justin Young; his sister Julia Raymond (Gerry); his siblings-in-law, Jeff Pitts (Julie) and Pam Pitts; his niece Keeley Pitts; his nephews, Kyle Pitts (Paw), Cody Pitts and Chase Pitts; his great-nephew Terry Pitts; and his great-niece Jaqi Pitts.

Contributions in Mike's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Nashville Humane Association.
