She was predeceased by: her parents, Orman Smotherman and Mary Elizabeth Smotherman; her husband William Newton Gregory, Sr.; her son William Newton "Newt" Gregory, Jr.; her great grandchild Emma Stevens; and her sisters, Jean Lee Smotherman and Magnus Marie Flynn.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Stevens; her grandchildren, Scott Stevens (Leah), Kelly Stevens (Stephanie), Lee Stevens (Jessica), Brett Stevens, Christopher Gregory (Ashtyn) and Jennifer Dunaway; her great grandchildren, Evan Stevens, Landon Stevens, Connor Stevens, Sydney Stevens, Peydon Stevens, Maddison Stevens, Teagan Dunaway and McKenna Gregory; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryan and Avery Hellams; and her daughter-in-law Donna Reed.
