He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer B. Jacobs and Geneva Thomas Jacobs; his wife Lois Evelyn Jacobs; his son Ralph "David" Jacobs, Jr.; and his siblings, William "Bill" Jacobs, Charles Homer Jacobs and Juanita Fann.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Jacobs (Vicki), Donnie Jacobs (Lisa) and Tammy Fults (Darrell); his niece Kim Helmholtz (Allen); and his brothers, Aubrey Jacobs, Ray Don Jacobs and Lester. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
