He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Guy Leonard, Sr. and Annie Baird Leonard; and his brothers, Kenneth Leonard and Hoyte Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Rose Evelyn Stacy Leonard; and his daughter Vicki Cooksey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
