He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Lane and Alice Baker Lane; and his siblings, David Michael Lane and Linda Lane Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Katie Ellen; his children, Robert Adam Lane, Jr. (Deanna) and Rhonda Lane Diskin; and his sister Bonnie Lane Freeman.
