He was predeceased by: his parents, Evadna Burkett and Preston Sylvester Burkett; his wife Vera Burkett; his son Nathan Peter Burkett; and his sister Dorothy Burkett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Henighan (Michael) and Abbigail Stanley (Alonzo); and his granddaughters, Joy, Michaela, Alivia and Avery. He is also survived by sisters, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
