He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis, Jessie Sheid Goodwin, Sam and Edna McFarlin Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn Phillips (Jason) of Knoxville, TN; his grandsons, Landon, Britton and Cameron; his mother Jane Jones Goodwin; his brothers, Sam Goodwin (Elizabeth) and Steve Goodwin (Judy); and his friend Eiko Crowe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).
Fred was born June 5, 1947, and left this earthly life ---- as a result of Parkinson's Disease and other accompanying health issues.
