He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Goodpaster and Jessie Coppage Goodpaster. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Massa Goodpaster; his daughter Milana Goodpaster; and his brother Julian Goodpaster (Betty). He is also survived by his seven nephews.
In addition the family would like to express appreciation to Murfreesboro Homecare, AdamsPlace, and the Tennessee State Veteran's Home for their excellent care, kindness, and friendship during his extended illness with Parkinson's disease.
