He is survived by: his children, Robert Joseph, Jr. Knapp (Yvonne), Lynn Essary, Wendy Adams, Lillian Schoonamaker (Billy), Barbara Grzywaczewski, Douglas Knapp (Sue), Richard Knapp (Barbara) and Carol Lebarron. He is also survived by 23 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
