He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Nichols and Frances Mitchell Nichols; and his son Robert Mark Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Chantay Burrell Nichols of Murfreesboro; his stepdaughter Grace Kelly Earp Cole (Josh Cole); his brother Gary; and his sisters-in-law, Tammy Nichols of Woodbury, Sherry Earp (Keith) of Smyrna, Patricia Vanderkarr, Jackie Schubert (Rick) of Wartburg and Andrea McKnight (Troy) of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great great nieces.
