It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Pierce of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillard H. Holt and Beatrice Stinson Holt; and her husband Donald Hugh Pierce. She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Hughes; her grandchildren, Cliff Hughes (Kristin), Kristin Hughes, Caleb Hughes and Kassie Hambrick (Steven); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Jack, Avaiya, Alanna, Colten, Kensley and Emmalynn; and her pet Annabelle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
