She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Carter and Charles Kirby; her siblings, Helen, Reba and J. W.; and her siblings-in-law, Laura Mae, LaVeta, Bill and Tony.
She is survived by: her husband Conley Morgan Dykes; and her sister Charlotte Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
