It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Aspley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Rutherford, Tennessee, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Prater and Flossie Prater; her daughter Joyce Elaine Barnes; and her siblings, Ruth McGill, Wade Prater, Frank Prater, Ruby Crosslin, Howard Prater, James Prater and Gary Prater.
She is survived by: her children, Grady "Bubba" Lamb and Linda Gail Hill (Donald); her grandson Brandon Barnes; her siblings, Billy Mears and Doris Mears; and her brother-in-law Ed Barnes. She is also survived by 16 other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
