She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, L. G. Small and Ruth Small; her siblings, Mary Lou and Robert; her daughter Hannah; her husband David B. Hall; and her children, Mark Sims (Priscilla), Murray Sims, Matthew Sims and Heather Sims (Mel Stewart). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
