He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Terry and Iva Mae Keeling Clapp; his wife Frankie Nell Chandler Clapp; and his children, Pamela Ann Clapp Mills and David Terry Clapp.
He is survived by: his son Roger Clapp, Sr. (Julia) of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren, Louis Mills, Roger Clapp, Jr., Lauren DeStefano, Jessica Owens and Terri Beth Miller; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Glass Clapp of Cleveland, TN.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
