He is survived by: his wife Regina Bass Helton of Antioch, Tennessee; his son T. Michael Helton (Melissa); his granddaughters, Jaclyn Helton (Joseph Scoggins) of Lake Junaluska, Margaret "Meg" Helton of Wilmore, Kentucky, Meredith Helton of Murfreesboro and Eliza Helton of Antwerp, Belgium; his great grandchild Rowan Helton Bailey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his siblings, Linda Walleker of Winter Park, Florida, John Hornbeek (Nancy) of Orlando, Florida and Glenn Hornbeek (Judy) of Naples, Florida; his sister-in-law Rosetta Bass of Nashville; his grandson-in-law Curtis Michael Gray II; Darren Dobbins, Adam Fuller, Lance Phillips, Chris Stovenour and P. Michael Tansil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
