He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton VanDervort and Josephine VanDervort. He is survived by: his wife Elsa Wolf VanDervort; his children, Shawn VanDervort (April) and Nadine Jones (Jeff); his grandchildren, Olivia Jones, Ben Jones and Joshua VanDervort; his brother David VanDervort of Switzerland; and his sister-in-law Martha VanDervort. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
