She was predeceased by: her parents, Uncie Winn and Roxie Idell Humphries Winn; and her husband Mike Burger. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Towry, Shelia Sharber and Paula Lynn Pierce; and her brother Dillard Winn. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
