He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Young and Susie Mae Bracy Young; his siblings, DeWitt Young, James William Young, Bracy Young, Robert L. Young and Virginia; and his aunts, Boosie Young, Doris Young Richardson and Robbie B. Young Henry.
He is survived by: his son Maurice; his daughter-in-law Rochel Young; his grandchildren, Lelounie Thamsorn, Jarron Thamsorn, Hannah Dixon and Isaiah Dixon; and his sisters, Lucille Batey (Freddie) and Cornelia Whyte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
