He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Peyton Nipper, Sr. and Ethel Virginia Sheets Nipper; his sister Virginia Ann Lester Knoll; and his brother-in-law Clayton Eugene Fann (Fann). He is survived by: his sister Brenda Nipper Fann; his nieces and nephews, Darren, Tonya Fann, Jana, Kenny Rooker and Walter "Wally" Fann; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shelby, Austin Prince, Cody Rooker, Jay Fann and Casen Rooker; his great-stepniece Paige Arnold; Ella Prince.
