She was predeceased by: her daughter Glenda; her parents, Butler Hammonds and Norene Kinion Hammonds; her brother B. C. Hammonds Jr. (Glen); and her son-in-law Wendell Capps.

She is survived by: her husband Glen; her son Pat (Joy); and her granddaughters, Amy and Hillary.
