He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis McDonald and Lorene McDonald; his siblings, Tony McDonald, Susan McDonald Roberson and Juanita Wood; his son Dorris Gregory McDonald; and his sister Betty Jean Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Hughes; his grandsons, Bryan Hughes and Jake Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Noah Hughes, Bentley Ervin and Gaven Ervin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
