He was predeceased by: his parents, Muhammad Kano and Naime Alibe. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Kano; his children, Miko Kano, Courtney Kano and Mark Kano (Andy Mars); his grandson Joniah Kano; his great grandchild Kyran Kano; and his pets, Hercules, JoJo, LuLu and Vato.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
