Alton Howard Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2023, at the age of 83, Alton Howard of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Swampton, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Howard and Geneva Howard (Wireman); his brother-in-law Mike Slane; and his nephew Ken Slane of Chelsea, Michigan.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bohenna; his daughter Karen Howard of Nashville; his sister-in-law Beverly Slane; and his nephew Ryan Slane of Chelsea.

His family would like to thank Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's for their love, support and guidance during his battle with Parkinson's, the staff at Richland Place and Alive Hospice for their compassion and care during his final days. Causes close to his heart were Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's and Nashville Humane Association.
