He is survived by: his brothers, Ricky McWhirter and Mark McWhirter; his daughter Cassie McWhirter (Kyle); his grandchildren, Austin, Jaylyn, Allen and Freyja; his nephew Brian McWhirter; and his niece Shana Wirt.
