He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jewell Brown; his parents, Alton B. Brown Sr. and Mary Florence Brown; and his brother Alton B. Brown Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kerry Brown, Mary Beth Sullivan, Deborah Joan Levering and Darin Lee Brown; and his siblings, Betty Bates McClendon and William Wayne Brown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
