She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James Ogilvie and Minnie Mary Anderson Ogilvie; her son Willie Scales III (Dot); her grandsons, Terrance Scales and Brandon Scales; and her siblings, George Ogilvie, Frank James Ogilvie and Clara Leach.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Scales (Cynthia), Sharon Massey (Fenton) and Dennis Scales (Mi Hui); her sister Betty Faye Scales; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ogilvie and Marie Ogilvie; her grandchildren, Kimberly Scales, Brigette Franklin-Massey, Jessica Hollis, Brian Scales Jr., Parmer Scales and Samantha Scales; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy "Dot" Scales. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; six nieces and nephews.
