He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oliver Jones and Florence Bunn Jones; and his brother Robert Jones. He is survived by: his wife Judy P. Jones; his children, Andrea Nixon (Kevin Nixon) and David Jones (Carlos Shivers); his grandchildren, Sarah Nixon, Katherine Duncan and Jack Nixon; his great grandchild Nixon Duncan; his brother Larry Jones; and his sister-in-law Pat Jones.
