He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Leonard and Catherine Collins Leonard; and his brother Brian William Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Kate Ruth Adams Leonard; his children, Mary Kate Martin (Chad) of Frisco, TX and Jamey Leonard (Jessica) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Zachary, Rylee Martin, Emery and Stone Leonard; his stepchildren, Duane Williams (Elle) of Mountain View, CA, Kandy Williams of Cookeville, TN, Adam Williams of Lebanon, TN and Heather Williams (Sarah) of Compton; his stepgranddaughter Kalina Williams; the mother of his children Carol Zerngast Leonard; and his aunt Joan Eagen.
Donations in his honor may be made to Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro TN, where he was a resident for the past few months, and/or to Catholic Charities.
