She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard Mitchell and Julia Lynn Harrison Mitchell; her brother Bill Mitchell; and her uncle J. C. Harrison. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Walls; and her siblings, Wayne Mitchell (Janet), Paul Mitchell and Anne Whitt (Pete). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home (27186 Main St, Ardmore, AL 35739). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Shiloh Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or Alive Hospice.
