She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Ledbetter and Christine Ledbetter; her siblings, Linda Ledbetter and David Ledbetter; and her son-in-law Paul Mayberry.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Briggs; her children, Jeff Briggs (Rebecca), Kim Mayberry and Michael Briggs (Zollie); her grandchildren, Matthew Mayberry, Jonathan Mayberry, Andrew Mayberry, Nicolas Mayberry, Ada Briggs, Ellie Briggs and Cooper Briggs; and her great grandchild Aspen Mayberry.
During her working years, she worked as a secretary for the Jason Foundation in Hendersonville & taught for a few years as well.
