He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Denton and Mattie Denton. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Denton; his sister Renee McKinney; his sons, Billy Denton Jr. (Teresa), Jerry Denton Sr. (Melonie) and Terry Denton (Marie); and his grandchildren, Zack Goss-Denton, Brianna Denton, Jerry Denton Jr., Joel Denton and Jared Denton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many amazing friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home (2627 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211).
