He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Alexander Tatum and Bradie Knight Tatum of Nashville, Tennessee.; his son Kirk Tatum; his grandson Stephen Jerome Tatum; and his sister Peggy Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Sammie Tatum; and his daughter Lisa Greenhalgh. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren along with extended family.
