He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Penick and Alvie Marie Penick; his wife Peggy Joyce Fisher; his son Michael; and his granddaughter Sofia Lynn Bara.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ellen Omohundro of Gallatin, TN, James Richard Penick of Claremore, OK and Gary Wayne Penick (Donna) of Portland, TN; his children, Vickie Lynn Bara (John), Sharon Elizabeth Tochtrop (Jim) and Edward Wayne Penick (Gayla); his grandsons, Chad Penick, Brad Penick, Alan Catlett, Michael Bara and Joshua Catlett; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Penick, Carter Penick, Samuel Catlett and Zachariah Catlett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
