It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Hood of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayborn Hood and Phrona Hood; and his nephew Wayne Sidler. He is survived by: his wife Verna Hood; his children, Charles "Randy" Hood (Mandy), Kelley Logan (Todd) and Ashley Gaza (Jason); his grandchildren, Hailey, Brady Bass, Jacob, Claire Hood, Jackson and Mattie Gaza; his stepsons, Kevin (Shallen) and Greg Chitwood; his sisters, MaryEllen Whitus and Sherry Hartman; and his nephew Jeff Sidler (Tracey Key).
