He was predeceased by: his parents, James Riddle and Jessie Lee Riddle; his former wife Betty Riddle; his sons, David, Carl and Chris; and his brother James Riddle (Margaret).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Riddle; his son Danny Riddle (Andrea); his stepchildren, Jenneen Reed (Lance) and Joe Dainwood (Lorrine); and his grandchildren, Grace Dainwood, Zan Dainwood, Libby Riddle and Maggie Kaufman.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (113 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Room in the Inn, Second Harvest, Habitat for Humanity, and Alive Hospice.
