She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Whitsey (Veronica), Kina Morton (Ronald), Timothy Dixon and Michael Whitsey (Michele); her stepchild Demanuel Starnes; and her siblings, Thurman, James Whitsey, Brenda Osborne (Charles), Dorris Darden (Joseph) and Barnethia Barrie. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
