He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joe Bill and Louisa McLean Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cadenhead Clements Stephens; his daughter Emma Stephens (Kate) of Nashville; and his siblings, John M. (Madelyn Stephens) of Houston, William G. Stephens (Lynn Carlson) of Granite Shoals, Lisa Kilpatrick (Timothy G.) of Kerrville and Angela Stephens (Stephens) of Dallas. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
